About

Hi, my name is Louise.  I started sewing when I was 7 years old.  My favourite doll was my first model but I very quickly progressed to making clothes for myself.  Many years later, my love for all types of needlework has not diminished.  It is my passion and provides many hours of enjoyment.  OK, I have to be honest and admit that a certain amount of frustration creeps in from time to time when something just isn’t working out the way I had visualised it.  BUT, I have learned to view these frustrations as challenges to overcome.  They are sent to try my sewing skills (as well as my patience).

It is my great pleasure to share both triumphs and disasters on my blog – Seams Like Fun.  Hope you enjoy my ramblings and find inspiration in my work.
